THE LIVE GENEVA AUCTIONS

Gooding Christie’s Geneva Auction

8 November at 7.00pm

The headline lot from the 24-lot strong offering, is a special breed of Ferrari, derived from the Le Mans-winning 499P, the latest inductee to the pantheon of historic and victorious Ferrari racing cars. In 2023, the 499P made its competition debut at a number of significant circuits, including the 24 Hours Le Mans, where Ferrari secured its first win at the iconic race since 1965.

Shortly after the introduction of the 499P, Ferrari unveiled the 499P Modificata, a non-competitive, unrestricted, track-only variant freed from racing regulations and confines, resulting in a more powerful iteration that makes better use of its hybrid assistance than its competition namesake. Presented in its original red livery, this 2024 Ferrari 499P Modificata has not been driven beyond its initial factory shakedown running and is offered publicly for the first time. Further, its new owner will gain access to Ferrari’s exclusive Sport Prototipi Clienti Program, enabling clients to drive their cars on international circuits with direct factory support. Additionally, a collection of low milage Ferrari supercars will also be on offer, entirely without reserve, including a 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta, a 2025 Ferrari 812 Competizione Coupé, a 2025 Ferrari SF90 XX Spider, and a 2016 Ferrari F12 TDF.

Elsewhere in the auction, timepieces made in 2026 are highlighting this year’s Watches For ELA section offering a total of 20 lots. Sportsmen watches also feature, including the Cartier Pasha model cherished by Zinedine Zidane sold to benefit ELA or a full Ruthenium set of 5 timepieces with matching numbers – all 92/99 by F.P.Journe previously in the collection of Michael Schumacher, are offered in the year marking his 30th anniversary since joining La Scuderia Ferrari.

Magnificent Jewels

10 November at 4.00pm

The Bulgari Pink, a leading highlight at Christie’s Geneva Week of Luxury Sales – is a stunning 24 carat Fancy Intense Pink diamond from the fabled Golconda mines in India. This extremely rare diamond has remained with the same family since its purchase in India in the 1950s. Coming from a Noble family, and set in a beautiful ring by Bulgari in the height of Cinecittà Studio’s cinematic grandeur and glamour, its cut, colour and charm will attract collectors across the globe (estimate of CHF10-15 million | US$12-18 million). The GIA Notable Letter accompanying the diamond states that the diamond exhibits a combination of distinctive characteristics consistent with those diamonds historically associated with the Golconda region of India. This is one of the few GIA Notable Letters to include attribution for a diamond to the Golconda region.

Furthermore the Magnificent Jewels auction features a curated selection of historic and modern jewellery highlighted this season by outstanding Art Nouveau masterpieces by René Lalique, alongside creations by the world’s leading houses, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston and master contemporary jeweller JAR.

All four live auctions will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues, Geneva.
